Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Bale International Airport (Addis Ababa) where you will be met by Passion Ethiopia Tours representative and transfer to hotel. O/N - Hotel

Day 2: Drive to Awash National Park 
After breakfast, you will drive to Awash National Park (225 Km from Addis). On the way, you will visit Lake Basaka and its aquatic birds. Up on arrival at the park, you will check into a lodge. In the late afternoon, you will do sightseeing at the Awash waterfalls and see the wild life. Overnight Lodge/Hotel


Day 3: Drive to Semera   
You will have an early breakfast and drive to Semera (357km from Awash NP). There you will check into a hotel. Finish all the formalities in Semera where you will get your Afar permits and you will pick up the mandatory scouts and road leaders. Overnight Hotel.


Day 4: Excursion to Hadar  and drive back to Kombolcha 
Right after breakfast, an early morning drive will take you to Hadar via Eli wuha. Visit the place where Lucy-3.18 million years old huminid fossil (Australopithecus afarnesis) where discovered. Late in the afternoon you will drive back to Eli wuha and then continue to Kombolcha. Overnight Hotel.

Day 5: A scenic drive to Addis Ababa. Overnight Hotel

Day 6: sightseeing tour of Addis that includes: National and Archeological Museums. Evening farewell dinner and departure.
