Highlight: Ethiopia is a country of great geographical diversity with high & rugged mountains, flat-topped plateau and deep gorges, incised river valleys and rolling plains. The country is endowed with great ecological and biological diversity. The altitudinal variation enables the country to possess a wide range of climatic condition. This has created diverse and suitable environment, allowing to be home for large number of flora and fauna. The flora of Ethiopia is very heterogeneous and has a rich endemic element. It is estimated to contain between 6,500-7,000 species of higher plants of which about 15% are endemic. Endemism is particularly high in the arid lowlands.

Day 1: Arrive Addis Ababa. O/n Hotel
Day 2: Addis Ababa Gulele Botanical Garden/705sqkm) and there are more than 1100 plant species in the Garden of which 52 are endemic. The Garden has endemic, indigenous and exotic plants.
Day 3: Drive to Assela- Chilalo Mountain. O/n hotel
Day 4: Drive to Goba via Bale National Park. O/n hotel
Day 5: In Bale- excursion to Harena Forest and Senete Plateau. O/n hotel
Day 6: Drive to Wendo Genet. O/n Hotel
Day 7: Full day at Wendo Genet area. O/n Hotel
Day 8: Drive to Bishangari Ecological area. O/n Lodge
Day98: Drive back to Addis. O/n Hotel
Day 10: Fly to Gondar and drive to Sankaber in Simien Mountains National Park. O/n Lodge
